About Janine

Janine Dodd has taught private piano, vocal and guitar students in a range of musical styles.  She has a Bachelors of Music Education degree and post-graduate credits from the University of Oregon and has taught music since 1997 both publicly and privately in Illinois, Oregon and Washington.  She has also been involved in worship music at church for over 20 years.  She has a passion for helping voices, and pianists develop in skill, technique and musicality.

Janine is also the Music and Choir Director at Federal Way United Methodist Church.

Janine firmly believes in the proverb, "If you can walk you can dance.  If you can talk you can sing."  She enjoys classical music, opera and musical theater the most but enjoys and respects all musical styles, consistently using them in her studio.
